Changing your password

Having problems getting into the portal?  Here's how to reset your password.
It's actually very easy, but it's a 2 step process.

  1. Click on the "request password reset" link, at the bottom of the home screen.  This will send an email to you, which contains a "validation link" inside.
  2. Open the email, and click on that validation link. This will take you back to portal, where you will see a confirmation message telling you that your new password has been emailed to you.
  3. A second email will be sent out, and this one contains your new password.  Write this down in a safe place.
You can now log into the portal, using this new password.  Note - once you log in, you should immediately change your password to something more memorable.
To do this, click on your username (at the top right of the main menu bar), which opens up a selection of drop-down menus - click on "change password" and this will take you to the password reset screen.
Here you will need to re-type that emailed password, and then you can change it to something more memorable by entering it on the following line, and then re-confirming it.
